## Shipping Costs

– **Orders $0.00 to $400.00**: $60.00 shipping fee
– **Orders $400 and up**: **FREE SHIPPING**

**Note:** We currently ship only within the 48 continental United States.

## Shipping Method

– **Carrier:** All shipments are sent via **UPS Next Day Air**.
– **Delivery Times:**
– Most shipments arrive **on or before 10:30 am**.
– Rural areas may receive deliveries by **12:30 pm** or as late as **4:30 pm**.
– **Important:**
– Next Day Air shipments are **not guaranteed** to arrive on time.
– **No refunds or credits** will be given for shipping delays under any circumstances.

## Shipping Schedule

– **Scheduling:**
– Livestock shipping dates **must be scheduled** with CRT Reefs.
– Use the **date picker at checkout** or **contact us** directly.
– The date you select is the day your order ships; you will receive it the next day.
– **Tracking:**
– You will receive a **tracking number via email** the evening before your shipment arrives.
– **Delays:**
– In case of inclement weather or shipping issues, we are **not liable** for delays.
– We guarantee live arrival but are **not responsible** for personal time or expenses due to unforeseen delays.

## Shipping Address

– **Default:** Shipping is to the **billing address ONLY** unless other arrangements are made via email.
– **Restrictions:** We can only ship to the **cardholder’s address**.

## Packaging

– Our corals are shipped with:
– **Heavy-duty bags** to prevent leaks.
– **Styrofoam boxes** with cardboard shells.
– **Heat or cold packs** depending on environmental conditions.

## Important Points to Note

– **First Delivery Attempt:**
– Shipments **must be received** on the **first delivery attempt**.
– **Holiday Shipping:**
– We do **not ship** right before or during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and July 4th).
– Shipping during these times poses too high a risk due to increased shipping volumes.

## Guarantee and DOA Policy

– **24-Hour Guarantee:**
– All our corals come with a **24-hour guarantee**.
– Losses outside this timeframe will **not be accepted**.
– **Reporting DOA:**
– If any coral perishes within this timeframe:
– Notify us via email within **4 hours of delivery**.
– Send **clear and explicit photos** of the ailing coral.
– **Compensation:**
– CRT Reefs will offer **credit on subsequent purchases** (no refunds).
– Credits are issued as a **gift certificate**, valid for **one year**.
– **Conditions:**
– **No refunds on shipping charges** under any circumstances.
– We may request the return of coral skeletons for verification.
– **Exclusions:**
– We are **not responsible** for:
– Errors in acclimation.
– General care issues (lighting, water flow, water chemistry, temperature, or inter-species aggression).
– All purchases assume the customer has **intermediate to advanced reefing experience**.

## Order Cancellation

– **Before Shipment:**
– If you cancel an order before it ships, you will be refunded **minus a 3% processing fee**.
– *(Credit card/PayPal processors do not refund this fee.)*
– **Timeframe:**
– Orders must ship within **2 weeks** of the order date.
– If you cannot accept delivery within this time, please **contact us**.
– **After 2 Weeks:**
– Canceled orders after 2 weeks will be issued as **store credit**, valid for **one year**.
– **Refund Processing:**
– Refunds may take **1-2 weeks** to appear on your billing statement.
